About Seanín


Seanín Hughes is a poet and writer from County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, where she lives with her partner and four children.

She has been or will shortly be published in a number of literary journals, including Poethead, Dodging The Rain, Cold Coffee Stand and The Blue Nib. She also has work included in Inking The Unthinkable: Poems about Poetry, an e-chapbook published by Lagan Online in August 2017.

Seanín’s influences and interests lie in a vast spectrum of areas, but she has particular interest in themes involving motherhood, mental health and disability of all forms and types.
